The capstone of the Cloud & DevOps Engineer track. Kasuwa, the online shop from the Data Scientist Capstone, lost checkout for 94 minutes at the peak of last year's sale, and nobody wrote the postmortem. With eight weeks to go, you'll take stock of a cloud account where half the spend was built by hand, reconstruct the outage from per-minute metrics and logs (autoscaling made it worse), and review the readiness pull request, where your policy checks catch a rename that would have deleted the orders database. Then you'll measure delivery with the DORA measures, size capacity from a load test and Little's law, replay burn-rate alerts against last year to see when they'd have fired, cut the cloud bill while the platform gets stronger, and turn a game day's failures into an honest go/no-go with conditions. Every number comes from running the code.
